BBM Coming to Android, iOS This Weekend

The most popular BlackBerry messenger service arrive or coming to Android and iOS this weekend.A report said that BBM will hit the Android and iOS app Store on September 21 and September 22 respectivily.

Earlier,BBM was exclusive only to Blackberry customers and is much loved by everyone.As its platform expanded all over the world,Blackberry seems to dominate the likes of popular messaging app called WhatsApp,which includes more than 300 million users.

Blackberry Messenger allows their users to exchange texts,audio,videos and pictures with each other.This app is not available on every platform.But other messaging apps such as WhatsApp,WeChat and Line are cross-platform apps as they are available on variety of platforms.Blacberry is trying to make BBM more than a messaging service.They are making effort to make it a social network.Once a single tool to send short messages without running up SMS charges, BBM currently fights with mobile instant messaging products from Facebook, Apple & a host of other popular apps like WhatsApp, Line, WeChat and more.

BlackBerry also completes no mention of the rumor that Samsung had secured a three-month exclusive to have BBM on its devices only. Meanwhile, BlackBerry is supposed to be gearing up for staff hold backs. It is reported that the company will remove up to 40 percent of its staff by the end of the year, affecting several thousand employees.
